Born and raised in Houston, Owen grew up an active member of the soccer community through playing on several teams, assistant coaching youth teams and through his first job as a referee. Owen graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Psychology.  Upon graduation, Owen moved back to Houston and began working with local nonprofits and small businesses to develop digital marketing campaigns with an emphasis on social media and email marketing. Owen later moved to Austin and now spends most of his free time playing sports, making music and exploring the Greenbelt as well of other local hiking/biking trails.
