Karen was born and raised in Granite Falls, North Carolina and she received a business degree from Caldwell Community College. She started her career at Transportation Insight in the LTL department where it can be a challenge but a great satisfaction from helping small and large companies with all their shipping needs. Prior to Transportation Insight, she worked 15 years at Carolina Silver where they silver coated fabric with pure silver for medical, shielding, antimicrobial applications. Her understanding and knowledgeable depth of logistics and manufacturing began here with her title as Customer Service Manager. She handled domestic and international shipments daily and she holds a forklift license. Her hobbies are decorating, exercise, shopping and most of all traveling. She has traveled the world and cannot wait to travel again. She celebrated 30 years of marriage in March 2020 and has one daughter with no grandkids yet (she says maybe in 5 years).
